Re: FISM 2012 - Day Six

What are the stakes? They can hardly use the awards' photos in their publicity, especially if they want to get high class bookings. Who wants to book a scruffy magician? It also shows the recipients don't have much respect for the awards. You hit the nail on the head there Q.

Re: FISM 2012 ... Some News

By the way, the registration price of 550 Euros equals $722 Not to forget the travel, weeks stay in hotel, food..... so on and so forth. Judging on that, they've done well (according to the blurb on magicweek) "Over 2,000 magicians from 40 different countries have already registered"

Re: Amac's Find The Lady

I have seen pictures of the Great Lyle and Granville Taylor perfoming the illusion. I think those are posed photographs for publicity and not in actual performance. Why ???? In my opinion they might want to omit a certain something (set up) in those pictures than you would see in a real performance.

Just learn the entire routine of Daryl's Ambitious Card OR you could look out for the first inmate who gets impressed with Ben Harris tricks and your time in jail will pass without any trouble.
