Re: Fism day 6 and off to Korea

Craig, That was wonderful, thank you. Couple of things that particularly resonated with me were - Communication. Tell us if there is a problem and acknowledge the inconvenience it causes. Apologise and update on how you are trying to sort it. - What's in it for the delegate - in my small experience ...

I agree with Brad. The main problem is each FISM has a different producer and it seems no handover manual.

Re: FISM Day 5

Nothing surprises me with FISM. Imo it's never about the talent. I bet any money the tea/coffee/drinks/refreshment room for FISM officers is the smoothest running thing there. From my limited brief experience in the whole FISM thing they were all much more conceded with their own hospitality area th...

Re: Charlie Frye's Favourite Magicians

Carl was magical…and as far as I know, nobody duplicated his act to the magical degree Carl did. And lets hope no one ever tries to duplicate his act. Rather, lets hope that people like Bill Irwin (who is himself a master) continue to mine the same veins of physical comedy, developing their own sty...

Re: YOUR Input Needed for Genii Convention

For what is is worth - at Shenanigans this year we went out and bought an iPad mini. We sold tickets for the one raffle prize at €10 each. We more then covered the cost of the iPad, it was a great prize for someone to bring home. It also had the bonus effect of not having to sit through a more often...

Fairy nuff. I've only seen her do the one act, and no one I know (and I know a fair number of people in the industry) have ever seen her do anything else. I would wager that if you mention the name Ursula Martinez, you'll get more responses about this act than any of her others. However, she does m...

As far as I am aware those outside the Uk (like I am in Dublin) can watch these on 4OD (Channel 4 On Demand)

I know it certainly worked for me when I viewed some of Derren's shows after the fact. http://www.channel4.com/programmes/derr ... ecials/4od

I don't think it is strange at all.

Surely Derren and/or his producers wish for the show, given the type of show it is, to remain a surprise for audiences is honourable.

It is not like the show is going to be crap and they area afraid word of that will get out.

Re: Derren Brown - Infamous - A Review

Would I have read the review had it been allowed here? probably yes. Will I see the show? Yeah, when it hits Dublin next year. Am I glad Richard took it down? Yes. I do know Derren, in his previous shows, asks the audience not to tip the content online. I imagine he probably does the same this time....
