Re: The Miracle ACAAN by Lloyd Barnes

Thank you for taking the time out to review this, Tom. I don't mind that you do not recommend this. I think it's better for others to see the negative reviews along with the positive. It allows people to get a really balanced view of the product before they buy it. All of your opinions are golden to...

Re: The Miracle ACAAN // Interesting Story

Unless you compare it to an actual ACANN. It's my take on the ACAAN plot. Anyway, too much arrogance and hate here. Even if it was the best trick in the world you pessimists would find something to [censored] on about it. But then again, I should've understood that before posting here. It's well kn...

You are calling this ACAAN despite that business with the phone. [/quote]

Re: The Miracle ACAAN // Interesting Story

It's tough to imagine a more crass sales pitch than one predicated on a mother's serious illness. Agreed. Thank god this is not that. Could have fooled me. This pitch (and that's what it is) using your mom's illness to move product, is execrable. No amount of childishly claiming "Nuh Uh, it's ...

Re: The Miracle ACAAN // Interesting Story

How can you say this isn't a pitch for cash? Nothing wrong with trying to sell your product but stop saying that isn't what you're trying to do. You start by saying "Before I start, I don't want anyone to think this is advertising." and then post a link to buy your product. You can't unde...

Re: The Miracle ACAAN // Interesting Story

Thank you for the apology mate, it's really appreciated. This, honestly, isn't a pitch for cash, sharing my story on how this ACAAN came about is what comes first but I'm not going to change your mind on that. I don't want to just make money on this but it's certainly helping me pay the rent for her...

Re: The Miracle ACAAN // Interesting Story

Strong words. I know what you're trying to say, however off the mark you are. Maybe my presentation wasn't to your taste but it got the astonishment feeling instilled within her. Which is paramount. Remember that. Also, if you read the story, you'll see that it's not an attempt to pull the heart sti...

Haha, it's nota sob story to make sales, it's a story people find it interesting and I didn't want to just stick up a typical advert, I wanted people to read this and take something from it. The normal response it's that it's inspiring for people and right now, I've had over 125 emails from people w...

"I've been in magic for about 15 years" You started when you were six? When I was five mate. My granddad was a street performer in London for a large part of his life and he taught me my first trick when I was five. I have old home videos of me performing it. It's the little trick you mak...

Re: Theory11s New T&R // Restored by Lloyd Barnes

That's ok, Mr Goat. Like Mr. Kaufman said, video cuts do make video demos pointless, but this is not the case with this video. I literally just shorted down a minute or so of folding and creasing the card. As you would've seen if you could have made it past the first couple of seconds, once the long...

Re: Theory11s New T&R // Restored by Lloyd Barnes

Thanks for the response, Richard. For some it may not be better than Guy Hollingworths's original, Restored is just much less of a knuckle buster, which some may find more practical for walk around performing. Also, Restored is bespoke to suit my performing style perfectly. Both mine and Mr. Holling...

Theory11s New T&R // Restored by Lloyd Barnes

Hello Everyone, I've been in magic for about 15 years, I've seen countless torn and restored card effects. Starting with Hollingworth's Reformation to Garcia's Torn all the way through to Wayne Houchin's Counterfeit Hollingworth. All of them great in their own ways, however, for myself, all of them ...

Re: Impromptu & borrowed object through bill // BANKRUPT by Lloyd Barnes

Concerning all of the points mentioned above. 1. I will be going to re-film this, highlighting that all the phases of misled can be emulated. 2. I never claimed that this was better than misled, just an option for a substitute for when you don't have the misled gimmick on you. 3. They keep and check...

Re: Impromptu & borrowed object through bill // BANKRUPT by Lloyd Barnes

I disagree that your version shows much conviction in terms of the bill actually holding the pencil. You completely lose the ability to partially unfold the bill and show it clearly punctured on the pencil/straw (easily done with the wenk gimmick) Without that conviction, a great trick becomes a me...

Re: Impromptu & borrowed object through bill // BANKRUPT by Lloyd Barnes

Maybe I should shoot you a new video to see the practicality of this. I've used secret fold methods before, they are, again in my opinion , no where near as magical as this. With bankrupt, you can display clearly that the straw is between the bill and with no funny movements, proceed to penetrate th...

Re: Impromptu & borrowed object through bill // BANKRUPT by Lloyd Barnes

No secret fold? Then how about a bit of card used as a flap to make it appear that the straw or card is inside? Or a slit straw? All are very common ways of achieving this. What makes this one worth $10 in comparison to what we already have available? The upshot is that it looks pretty poor compare...

Re: Impromptu & borrowed object through bill // BANKRUPT by Lloyd Barnes

Hey,

For this method there is no secret fold. The method is far from it. If you look at the trailer, you can clearly see that the straw is between the bill. I'll send 1 copy of this to someone so they can confirm.

Cheers,

Lloyd
