Radio of 1950

I've posted a story about Houdini's "Radio of 1950" illusion with a great photo of Hardeen doing the trick, showing the inside workings of the "radio" box (I've never seen that before). http://www.wildabouthoudini.com/2014/04/hardeen-dials-in-radio-of-1950.html Here's my question...

New Houdini play in NYC (50% off tickets)

I'm not sure if anyone has posted about this yet, but The Axis Theatre Company in New York is staging a new Houdini play, NOTHING ON EARTH (CAN HOLD HOUDINI). The play was put together with the help of the mighty Bill Kalush of the Conjuring Arts Reseach Center. It's about Houdini's involvement with...

I'll have a clip and little something about this up on my blog later today or tomorrow. I'm exchanging emails with the Opera House trying to get more info on when Houdini was there. Re: Hugh Jackman is NOT Coming to Broadway as Houdini

I saw this coming a while back. I think they have great music, but a bad book. I never understood the choice of Sorkin for a Broadway musical. They spent the year trying to rework his script with a new writer. Jackman had one foot out the door. It came down to read through of Act 1 earlier this month.
