For us magicians, deception becomes not only a tool but an obsession so I could see why you are so impressed with Geller's character and mo...

Re: Ace Assembly

Ever try "comedy of errors" from the Vernon tribute to Nate Leipzig? It has an enormous impact on audiences if you utilize your acting skills right.

Re: Favorite Joker Routines

The Hypnotic Power of the Jokers from Sonata by Tamariz.
Also, I don't think anybody mentioned The Joker Trick from Ultar Cervon. I used it many times to great results.

Re: jennings books

In fact, I was never aware of Jennings '67 being your publication. If ever I saw the title (which I don't recall seeing, although I regularly read both Genii & Magic magazines) I thought it was a way people refered to LJ on cards & coins. Sorry, but true, and I am ashamed, especialy since LJ...

Re: Sam The Bellhop

share, keep, share, keep...share! One more presentation of mine. Someone picks a card, remembers and places it back into the pack. The cards are shuffled (by me, of course - using my one hand false shuffle :) ). I tell a story about a card cheat who deals croockedly. At the end of the story, the onl...

Re: What is your favorite opener?

When I teach, one of the most important drills is for the student to come up with ways to introduce himself (his character for the performance) with magic - an opening effect that will leave the audience with a clear image of the performer's character and subsequently, his magical qualities and abil...

I do a story in...HEBREW... Lot's of wordplay. I have a card selected and the story is told as I ask them to stop me when I reach their card. I tell the story with the entire pack.
