Re: Jeff Busby Passes Away

Well, it didn't take long after I posted my problems with Mr. Busby and agreeing 100% with Richard that the haters on the Green Forum started to attack. I love it when people chime in when they have no idea of what they are talking about. Also, I was scolded that I wasn't asked to comment. That's re...

Jim Steinmeyer's Hologram

Re: Cigarette magic?

If you have ever seen John Calvert's "Symphony in Smoke", you understand how powerful a routine it is. He doesn't light the cigarettes, of course. He, also, starts it by warning people not to smoke. The last time I saw his show Lance Burton was still using lit cigarettes for his dove produ...

Eric:
I just ordered your book and look forward to getting it. I figured anyone who picked "Richiardi" as their favorite magician(mine, too.) has to know what he is doing; plus you didn't let the jerk at Hocus Pocus mislead us with his so called "exclusive" items.

Thomas Wayne contact

I placed an ordered and paid with Paypal to Mr. Wayne in February, 20004. I have emailed him dozens of times. I have tried to PM him in the Genii forum and Magic Cafe. Does any one have contact information they would be willing to share? Kendrix

Re: Competition help?

Fruit Cup is a great routine because of the Impromtu nature of it. I don't know if it would work for a competition. What about using the same "moves" to create a formal Cups and Balls routine?

Re: Need to produce an executive...

From the suggestions, I don't don't think many of you have actually produced an executive before (especially a female). The last thing they want to do before coming on is to be crammmed in some box or rolled up in a sheet. The ones I have worked with don't want hair or clothing mussed. I have a Bruc...

Victoria Secret's Angel

Maybe this will liven up this category. What did everyone think of the "Flying Angel" at the start of the show? The frontward spinning seemed to point to the exact means of suspension.
I wonder what David Copperfield thought of it?

Re: I'm giving away magic

Magic cafe does tend to be very stifling and overly "heavy handed" with censorship. There was a thread present with a picture of a morbidly obese female magi. who did as part of her act a razor swallowing. I said "If I looked like her I would swallow razors, too. Real ones. " Tha...

Re: Riser/Loomis Mini chop cups

I was a little disappointed about Copperfield's performance. It was the "Motorcycle Appearance" to the "Moby" song. Nice, but very much repeated. The segment seemed very much edited and disjointed.
