Re: Steinmeyer's Nine Card Problem

The little trick certainly got the attention of one Larry Jennings when he published his handling "Getting To Nine" in the July 1993 issue of Magic, An Independant Magazine for Magicians. His version has been in my repertoire for years.

Re: Richard Kaufman: Sport Authority

To quote a Yogism: "Is this deja vu all over again?" The NBA Draft Lottery is scheduled for this Thursday June 28,2012. The Commissioner seems to be in the middle of this fixed lottery controversy again as the No.1 college draft pick, Anthony Davis, of the University of Kentucky in a mock ...

I think the name of Wesley James should be mentioned when referring to Derek's handling and/or technique for the card to envelope/wallet.If you refer to the Wesley James book "ENCHANTMENTS" there's a section in the book that talks about he and Derek working out the mechanics of the card to...

Re: Tuskegee Airmen

Pete, I'm wondering if the guy named "Robbie" you mentioned in your Emil Clifton book could actually be the father of Robin Roberts, co-host of Good Morning America. I know she has mentioned on several occasions that her father was in fact a Tuskegee Airman.

While it appears on the surface that Tommy does not attack "The Berglas Effects" directly his alter alias's certainly do all of the dirty work for him, unfortuneately for the rest of us a very deceptive practice that is all too common these days in business and in politics.

My remembrances of Ford(Sandy)Kross dates back to Mystic Myron's Magic Shop, Mecca Magic and the John McNicholas Roundtable. I'm sure we both had admiration for each other's chosen field of prestidigitation his being mentalism and mine being close up card magic.
He will be sorely missed!
