FS: Ted Lesley/Punx Soap Bubbles

I have a Punx Soap Bubble set by Ted Lesley for sale. I think the original price was around $300. The effect is this: pull out a glass pipe, and blow several soap bubbles with it. It's a really cool hand blown glass pipe. You then reach up and catch one of the bubbles, which is now a solid glass sph...

Re: Michael Close Lecture

I was at a "workshop" that Michael did in SoCal about a month ago and it was great. I definitely benefitted from it. I was already familiar with much of his material (CGS, etc.) but it was great to hear him in person and see many of the routines live. Definitely a lecture/workshop not to m...

Re: Michael Close Workshop in So. Cal

The event was a great time. To chat informally over dinner with Michael and Lisa was very nice. Michael then went in whatever direction we wanted him to. I go to see exactly what I wanted. Great format Sam! I'll be at the next one!

Re: CUPS EXPERTS

I see what you mean about the CNC vs. Hand Spun. I've got a set of VanDokkum standards and a set of Jumbo Risers. I love both of them. Re: Clear Cups and Balls

Penn & Teller did a C&B with clear plastic drinking cups on their "Home Invasion" TV Special. It was basically just revealing the whole trick, but Teller does it so well, even then it was kind of confusing as to exactly what was going on.

There are a couple of indexes you can make yourself in Bob Wagner's Master Notebook of Magic. The one for coat pockets is great and very quick. H&R Magic Books (www.magicbookshop.com) usually has a few copies.

Re: Chinese coins off Ribbon

There are also a variety of coins with holes in them that are not oriental in nature. An East African dime, for instance, is the size of a half dollar and has a hole in it. If you're looking for presentational differences, and real currency, it's out there. Just take a trip to the local coin shop an...

If you don't get the one on e-bay, try www.bookfinder.com They have about 8 or 9 places listed that have it in stock right now. You'll end up paying over $120 for it though. I'm looking for a source for mini baseballs (like the Mike Rogers Baseballs) in colors. Specifically, I'm looking for orange. Re: My take on the Copperfield Show

I don't think all of the "stooges" are completely "stooged." I saw the show twice at the MGM in about a month and got there early both times. A couple of the "stooges" were actual people who had simply been talked to ahead of time by his staff, not employees of DC &...

Re: Coin Purses

Try contacting Scott Hollingsworth in Houston, Texas. His website is www.themagicedge.com. You probably won't find it listed there, but at one time he carried a coin purse for Copper-Silver-Brass that had a special pocket in the purse for the gaff.
