Re: Criss Angel – Quarter Through Soda Can available for rental!!!!

Correct me if I am wrong, but it would be illegal to rent a dvd without permission. When you purchase a dvd you aren't purchasing the rights to do with the material as you please, you are purchasing a license for private home viewing of the material on that dvd. Re: Request for advice on manipulations learning material

Thank you all for the great advice. I bought myself all three volumes of "Routined Manipulation" as well as "Expert Manipulation of Playing Cards", "The Art of Card Manipulation" DVDs, the two Jensen books on sponge balls, and the Romaine dvd (which was an impulse buy)....

Request for advice on manipulations learning material

My latest fascination is manipulations, with a special emphasis on card manipulation (though billiard manipulation looks wonderful as well). So far, the only material I have that deals with manipulations is contained in Dai Vernon's Inner Card trilogy which contains a method for producing cards from...

Re: Royal Road, Card College....other?

Thank you all for the great advice. I am still trying to find the style of magic that is right for me, so advice that broadens my horizons is specially useful. I chose to stick with Royal Road to Card Magic since I already own it. My question came about mostly as a result of people telling me it is ...

Re: Basic Grip for card magic

Ive googled around, but the best I could find was a video of someone purportedly using Marlo's Master Grip. Can you describe this grip and its advantages? I doubt describing a grip counts as exposure, if it does then can you tell me where to find out more about it?

Basic Grip for card magic

I am about to ask a question that is probably stupid, but hey that's why Im in the beginner's forum. I am still very much a beginner in magic. When it comes to card tricks, I have been practicing the ambitious card, four aces, biddle trick, two card montie and other card tricks for about a year and ...
