Re: The Faro Shuffle

i disagree pete. why not learn both? they are both good to learn. doing the tabled faro might not be practical in some scenarios. you shouldnt limit yourself to only doing the tabled faro. i think tabled faros are definately good for gambling stuff, but for other effects i dont think it is necessary...

Re: Product Reviews - Don't Forget Your Own Gut Sense

i agree with Richard that the cards turning blank is bad magic. however, if you have a good reason for the cards turning blank, and you convey this thru your patter, it could work.

i hear what your saying Steven but im trying to get over a dirty little habit of mine. when i see a book that i really want, but dont need at the time, i'll just buy it anyway. so in an attempt to save money, i might hold off (for like a week or so ;) )

how long is hacking the pass going to be available? is it one of those things that needs to be bought before they run out, or is it something you can get whenever you are ready to learn the pass?

Re: WatchMagic DVD

maybe the effects in the video just need a better performer. in my opinion he doesnt do a good job at making the effects look magical. i mean why does the deck go to new deck order in his triumph routine? he gives no logical reason for that to happen. his moves look like what they are, moves. in the...

I have heard from many different people that penguine magic is a really bad place to buy products. I have never had any intentions of buying anything from them, but i am curious as to why they might be a bad company.

not trying to sound arrogant or conceited, i truly believe it depends on pure practice to get a perfect faro any time you want with any deck in somewhat decent condition. Just practice and you will get it each and every time.

You won't find many tricks in the book but rather an arsenal of card sleights that will help you for years. I highly recommend this book. MINT Vol. 1 is a...
