What terible news. I was lucky to have met Scotty at our New York Coin Magic Seminars, when he came up with Bill Wells. How horrible. I will never forget the wonderful time we had together sharing magic back in the 80's when I went down to Maryland. I would reccomend starting with the Bobo book, followed by Kaufman's Coinmagic, and Roth's Expert Coin Magic. Thats more magic than you will ever need to start with. However, if you learn with DVD;s, Roths 3 DVD set is a very reasonable price now, since it is sold as a three pack, and not separately...

Bob was a great friend and supporter through the years. As a teenager, he ripped me for having a big head, and it taught me a great lesson. Carl was one of the first coin magicians I met, back in the 70's in New york.
