2009 Los Angeles Conference on Magic History

Though the festivities have already begun in the hotel bar, everything officially starts on Thursday. Now seems like a good time to start a thread. As always, I'm sure it will be a great convention.

Jaks' close-up case shaped like a book (and much of its contents) is currently in the collection of Ken Klosterman. The case is photographed and described in Ken's book Salon de Magie.

Buzzsaw Illusion

Bob Ellis designed and built a version of the Blackstone Buzzsaw Illusion which had a pivoting blade and which hinged in several places to allow the whole thing to fit through a doorway without being dissassembled. This was perhaps 20 or 30 years ago. Does anyone out there happen to know what happen...

Ibidem Question

Okay, guys, here's just a quick question that someone might be able to help me with. I'm looking at what appears to be a complete file of Ibidem. The issues have been comb bound into 5 volumes and all appear to be original (staple marks are present throughout and the first 33 issues are silk screene...
