Re: Geller stoops to a new low

I do find it interesting that you compare Geller with the stock market gurus though. Personally, and it's just my opinion, I find deliberately lying to take financial advantage to be quite despicable. On the side note that you mentioned, 'Passion of the Christ' was produced by people who identify as...

Re: Geller stoops to a new low

One point I think is being ignored is this. There are a lot of people who genuinely believe in psychic power and the supernatural. They go to New Age fairs and expos looking for proof to support their beliefs. Geller is a magician presenting his magic as genuine psychic power and thus those seekers ...

Plus, if you were the one that got the call to respond, would you be thinking like a person or like a famous performer? It's easy to answer that now, but without the chance to think it over, do you honestly think you'd say, "No comment"? I don't find it easy to condemn the guy in this cas...

Re: Derek Lever ... Discriminating Against Deaf Magicians

Well if that is truly their stated position, then any foreign language translators would also be fire hazards.

I totally agree that safety at that venue is a #1 priority... so Clive Webb and Danny Adams, who threw foam all over the audience two years ago, should be absolutely banned from Blackpool.

Re: Wonderball

It does appear that the WONDERBALL is simply ASTROSPHERE without the cloth. Another backward step in the "reimagining" of existing effects that so many people seem to do nowadays. Once you add the WONDERCOAT you are getting closer to the practical method that already exists with ASTROSPHERE.
