Re: Traveling Magician Statue for sale!

I know it's a expensive item and $5,000 is a good sum of money.

Any offers are always welcome.

Thank you!

Re: Help... where can I find The Mcmillan Switch

So, I'm confused a little. Is the switch Jack's or Dan's? I've heard different people say different things. Maybe independent invention? I remember seeing Jack do it as a teenager.

Re: Charlie Miller's preference: Take or Put False Transfer?

It is my understanding that Charlie preferred the take over the put and in his later years became quite adamant about it.

Re: Paul Chosse's memorial

Hello all,

I spoke with Paul's girlfriend Denise this morning. She said the memorial was beautiful and Paul would have been very happy.

To all those who sent donations and spiritual support to help with memorial, I thank you.

Re: Jack McMillan's rising card principle

Regarding the plunger principle, someone pointed out that Jack McMillen might not have invented it. Apparently, Lawrence Kam from Hawaii put an effect called the Priceless Card Rise into print in the Seven Circles Magazine. This magazine had a short run from 1931 to 1934. Upon further research, here...

Re: Disneyland's Main Street Magic Shop in Jeopardy...

It's interesting becasue when I first started working at Disneyland, I didn't want to work the Magic Shop at all. Of course that only lasted for about a week. I happened to be practicing some shuffle work on a table backstage and a girl who was working with me in the Emporium asked if I would show h...

Re: Surfaced

Chad and I spent quite a bit of time hanging out at the GGG. When it was just the two of us in the lounge, he really broke down and taught me how to do the move. Then he proceeded to show me some absolutely brilliant uses for the move. I was / am very impressed. Chad stayed at my house many years ag...
