There was an audiorecording with Dr Jaks released by Martin Breese, this is still obtainable from Lybrary.com.

Reinhard, fortunately I read german but slowly. Are the books about Dr Jaks still obtainable, who is the publisher and what are the names of the books?

Comeback

Seems like Johnny Hart is making a magical comeback at the Blackpool convention in february.
Wanted to mention this because he was one of my idols when I started in magic years ago. Infact he has inspired quite a few, among others one Finnish world class magician.

In Who is Who in Magic there is a mention about a forthcoming book in english about dr Jaks. Well it`s about ten years since that, was the book ever published? Can`t remember seeing any ads concerning this. Al Mann published a booklet with dr Jaks act and material and there is an audiotape published...

Sorry Max i dont have the book.As I said the description of the workings of the chair is very brief no blue prints.Especially the hinges and their placement caused problems when i tried to reconstuct the chair on paper.
