April is School Library Month - What was your favorite?

Better late than never... April is School Library Month. For more info: http://www.ala.org/aasl/slm It wasn't until I went to work for the American Library Association that I realized just how much my school library (and public library) meant to me. I know that many of us found inspiration at the li...

Re: Magic? I think so.

Oh Mr. Murphy. As an original viewer of the first run of Star Trek I will happily admit to wishing I could have a Venusian Slave Girl! And please, NO Politically Correct comments. It was a fantasy/science fiction tv show. Just as people of a later generation wanted Leia in her slave girl outfit. An...

Magic? I think so.

Star Trek fans will remember Susan Oliver. I still can't stop thinking about her. LOL! I just received a copy of this DVD. I really enjoyed hearing her story. I admit I only knew her from the Star Trek episodes she did. But man, she did so much more. If you are a fan of Star Trek and television hist...

Penn Jillette & NRBQ

This is a shameless plug for NRBQ. Those of you that are familiar with the band know that they have been around for a while. Their line up has changed down through the years, but Terry has always worked with great musicians. The current line up features a very good friend of mine on bass and vocals....

Re: Circus Roncalli

Circus Roncalli is absolutely WONDERFUL! I have had the pleasure of seeing them on multiple occasions in Frankfurt. Also, if you are in the Frankfurt area, check out Der Tigerpalast. It is a wonderful little variety theater that I was lucky enough to see Jeff Sheridan perform at a few years back.

Re: Bruce Bernstein - Chicago Tribune Profile

A very nice article indeed. Bruce is a great guy. He was always happy to answer my questions when I came into Magic, Inc. WAY back in the day. He turned me on to Annemann, William Lindsay Gresham, and the Jonah Card. Bless his heart.

Re: Astrometaphysics

Hmmm....Perhaps a new trick all together. (Force?) First king (Elvis?) Then spell to the REAL KINGS (Freddy, Albert and BB). Just a thought. This trick wouldn't be as appealing with Yngwie Malmsteen.

Re: Astrometaphysics

Bad Sign = Albert King.

Spell A-L-B-E-R-T and turn over the card that falls on T.

Or Albert King who was famous for playing a 59' Gibson Flying V.

Spell G-I-B-S-O-N. Turn over card that falls on N.

I like this trick!

As the parent of a 4 year old, I do know that day cares and preschools are on tight budgets. Many two income families are back to being one income families due to layoffs. Re: NEW FORUM: Post your problems/issues here

No doubt somebody posted something about this and I have not seen it yet.

When viewing the forum on my MacBook there is an annoying line that runs down the middle of every page. When I view on my PC I do not see this line. Am I losing my mind? 'Cause that is a very real possibility.

Best,
PTM
