Re: Penn on Celebrity Jepoardy tonight!

I know Penn has been losing weight, but he is looking a little too thin. Also he seemed to be having trouble with his voice.

He was laying the smackdown on the other contestants with his knowledge.

Re: Tonight, 2 shows: Masters of Illusion / Penn & Teller

"Masters" of Illusion - outside of Mac King and Dana Daniels - was a complete failure. Rick Thomas resembles a Wayne Newton knockoff and his performance was lackluster. Not good. The multiplying chair and Backstage illusions were not represented well either. Mac King was great. Dana was as...

Agree with Andrew's assessment of the book.

Simon Lovell has Fallen Ill

For anyone who is involved in magic or the T.V. show "White Collar", Simon Lovell has had a stroke and is in the hospital. I do not know how bad the stroke was or how badly he was affected by it at this time, but it isn't good from what I do know. He left it untreated for quite some time a...

Re: Centerfolds of Magic

Burton's early show had the girls fully clothed. The late show had them topless. It felt completely out of place and seemed to make the audience uncomfortable. The Hacienda show ran for five years, so I'd wager that if the topless women were a total turn off (or causing lost ticket sales) they'd pr...

Re: Is magic an art?
