Inspired by something I read in Bascom jones' MAGICK, I dreamed up "The Book of Hidden Knowledge".

Re: MIXING MAGIC AND MENTALISM

I wrote a piece about that not long ago. My two cents's worth -- enjoy (or hate :) ) !

Re: Impromptu Mental Epic

BOB!!! Oh, my -- it's been YEARS! Great to see you, my old friend -- hope all's well with you! I know the Yates version; it's similar on the surface, but actually quite a bit more involved under the hood. You write the numbers first and show them; later on, you modify them. It's in a small book of o...

Re: Impromptu Mental Epic

Hello, Daniel, Thank you very much for answering! Regrettably, that's not the one. Here's a brief synopsis of what I'm looking for. You have 3 slips, a glass and a sheet of letter paper. 1) I'm thinking of a colour (write something on slip and fold it). This is #1 (write number on slip and drop it i...

Re: Impromptu Mental Epic

Greetings! Can someone please help me identify the following version? It was shown to me in the mid-70s. It's a simple 'one-ahead' version, done with three billets, but they're numbered (on the outside), and the numbers are miscalled. The spectators's choices are written on a separate sheet or notep...

Re: Best Okito Box and Routine...Your opinion?

Greetings! Is anybody still following this thread? Just wondering. My favourite Okito box is one that a friend gave me after I shared my views on the topic with him. The box has a few holes drilled in it and a tiny firecracker in each hole. It's the most treasured coin box in my collection. Come to ...

Quick 3-way variation--credit?

Hi,

There's a version of Marlo's Quick Three-Way display that uses a double-deal (top and bottom) instead of the Annemann-Christ Alignment Move. Any idea who to credit this to?

Thank you very much for any info!

Re: Coin production credit?

Hi Tom,

Indeed, it has an "Andrusian" feel to it -- but I don't think it was Andrus'. I'll keep looking.

Indeed, not a new principle -- but it was fun to watch Tommy Cooper again! :)

Thank you for your help--

Coin production credit?

Greetings!

I'd like to know the origin of this coin production that I read about some 30 years ago, but I don't remember where. Anybody know whose it is or where it appeared?

You can see it at <isawthat.com/en/CoinProduction.mov>.

Thank you very much!

Re: Mystical Mumbo-Jumbo

Greetings! The "mystical mumbo-jumbo" refers to the fact that a few of Punx's presentations relate stories from religious / mystical / philosophical sources. A superb routine with pearls recounts a Buddhist story; a version of the tape-recorded prophecy where the spectator is instructed to...
