Re: Problems with 'The Princess Card Trick'?

The other night I was able to perform an impromptu version of The Princess Card Trick using a borrowed deck of cards. It went over rather nicely, I hadn't performed this version in a long long time and forgot how powerful it can be.

Re: Problems with 'The Princess Card Trick'?

Well then, couldn't the original be used to baffle those that think they are in the know? A long time ago I came up with a version of the Princess Card Trick where the selected card has a different colored back than the other cards and the other cards end up blank faced. I should probably dig it out...

Re: Problems with 'The Princess Card Trick'?

It means that some people have had the linking rings or seen it on tv at some point...smarta**! *wink*

How about Ghost Card? Too much like the Princess Card Trick, I do not even bother performing this one anymore.

Re: Problems with 'The Princess Card Trick'?

Sad really how the Princess card trick is so overexposed, I have friends who have seen it online also, *shakes head*... As for the old linking rings at least a few times a year I have people of different ages come up to me after my show. These folks are perplexed as to how my rings work, seems they ...

Re: Closing Effect

I second the Snowstorm In China, messy but very magical...cheap if ya make your own, packs small and plays very big.

I've used it for 11 yrs., kids at birthday parties usually go nuts tryin'ta catch some snow.

Re: Artificial Fake Olives

Hey Pete! Steve is right you can make fake olives outta plastic grapes and a chunk o' red sponge ball. You will want to find plastic grapes that are well... thick, so the redness of the sponge does not show thru.
One thing is you'll have quite a supply of olives!

Re: Cold reading books

There is no doubt that magic is a lie within a lie,
but should we use those talents for entertainment such as comedy and the like or should we chance changing someones belief system with a lie? I'd rather not take the chance, I've seen what it can do.
