Re: Dani DaOrtiz Book on his Memorized Stack Now Available in English

Jim, Thanks. I guess what I was curious about was whether I'd be able to print out the content, properly formatted, with the file I received from <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.grupokaps.com">www.grupokaps.com</a><!-- w -->? If it's a PDF then I'd expect to be able to do that unless ...

I have two questions regarding this item from DaOrtiz. Is the "file" from <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.grupokaps.com">www.grupokaps.com</a><!-- w --> site (as linked above) an e-book or a PDF file? Does it differ from the lybrary.com file available a few months ago? Any i...

Re: Anyone in Boise? Maybe You Can Go Say Hello to ...

The address on 6th Street has been Busby's business address since 1998 or so. I have a few letters from him from that time, but am fairly confident it isn't his residence.

Re: Something of interest about A.C. Gilbert

This lot sold for $300 at auction in 2009. The listing you looked at is likely the LiveAuctioneers listing. If you search the "sold "items you'll see this listing and the price.

Re: Austrian Magicians: Johann Nepomuk Hofzinser, Ottokar Fischer, Joseffy, Magic Christian

Books LLC is a "print on demand" company that simply takes Wikipedia content and makes printed "books" from those entries. They also print some out of copyright books that come from The Gutenberg Project, etc.

Re: H. Adrian Smith columns

Dick,

Brilliant! Many thanks. Late last night I came across a copy of the BOOKS AT BROWN via an online seller. It also is possible, though I've yet to hear back, that Brown still sells them. I'll start with that and uncover the rest piecemeal.

Joe,

Thanks much. That was the name of the column. Trevor Hall references it with some frequency in his work. I was curious as to length of run and frequency within the issues. I appreciate your response.

H. Adrian Smith columns

Does anyone have the date range for the column that H. Adrian Smith wrote for The Tops magazine. I have references from 1937 and 1938, but was curious if it ran longer than that span. Or, better yet, if those writings were ever compiled.

Thanks for any help.

In regards to the packaging, it would appear that you get what you pay for...I've avoided Amazon for fine print books for these exact reasons. They don't really sell books; they sell widgits. But the price is a good one, I agree.

Bob,

I'll jump in. Look for Papilio "Color Laser Ultra Removable Clear Film". You can print on this sheets, cut out, and affix to die - they are self-adhesive. While I've not tried that specific application, this should work.
