Re: Plots & Ploys by Peter Duffie

Hi Tom, Peter's Cannibal Card routine, Dinner for Two is brilliant. If it is beyond your skill level that isn't a weakness of the routine. Spend more time practicing. I have performed the routine at least a dozen times for lay audiences and received wonderful reactions to the trick. I have never see...

Steve Freeman's "Back in Time"

Does anyone recall what issue of Genii Steve Freeman's card effect "Back in Time" was published? If my memory serves me, it was in the late 1970s or early 1980s.

Thank you.

Richard, To the best of my knowledge, the Altman handling of the Double Undercut Palm was first published on pages 72 and 73 of Marlo's Magazine #4 in 1981. I learned the move from Frank Thompson who taught it to me in New York City in February of 1966. During my first trip to London in July of 196...

Watching the Presidential debate last night I came up with a new card effect.

You all know the classic SAM THE BELLHOP routine. I worked out an even stronger effect called JOE THE PLUMBER. It may be a feature trick in my forthcoming card book:-)

Re: Ring on a Stick

The finest ring on and off a wand is R. Paul Wilson's One True Ring. It doesn't use a borrowed finger ring but nevertheless it is the most remarkable routine of a ring on and off a wand I have ever witnessed.

If you insist on using a borrowed ring, the routine in the Stars of Magic can't be beat.
