Tru dat Mista K. It was a very enjoyable day, Brent did a great job scheduling the lectures because they complemented each other and the transition was seamless. The connecting thread was Slidini since both Tony and Meir were students of this great magician, and Johnny Thompson did a hilarious imita...
Well, you did it again Brent! Axel's lecture was one of the best in your series of lectures. Everything he performed was a winner and that doesn't happen at lectures very often. His "Newsflash" newspaper tear drew the most astonishing reaction that most magicians can only hope to generate!...
Brent will have a tough time next year when he begins to assemble his speakers for the Day of Lectures 2010. The line up this year was stupendous; all three lecturers seemed to be attempting to top the previous speaker to the delight of all in attendance. It was a full house and the accommodations w...

I don't think I have ever seen a technical lecture blended so well with a funny and fast paced performance demonstration of those techniques. Arthur is a great guy and as previously stated, a deep, deep thinker! If you wanted to go and didn't, you sure misssed a GOOD ONE! Great lecture, thanks Brent!

B&Ms must take every advantage to make their nut daily, weekly and monthly. Walk a mile in their shoes and you too will look for every opportunity to make the rent and the payroll. It will be politically obvious that the "Stimulus Package" will not trickle down to the hard pressed owne...

WOW, what a bash! Thanks Brent for the exceptional venue to hob nob with some of the many new faces in magic, and seeing old friends again in the perfect environment to share a common interest. You are giving the magic community a great opportunity to promote the art of magic based on the demographi...

Does anyone remember Magic FX on Glendale Avenue in Glendale, CA. It was run by Peter Louis who, beside being a magician, was also an actor who had small parts in a number of popular TV programs at the time; Babylon 5, Seinfeld, etc. Peter was a big guy, over six feet tall, bald and about 300 pounds...
If you are in the neighborhood, stop by the Magic Apple and see the "new look" that Brent has magically created over the week end. I have it from several good sources that he and a few friends spent Sunday, supplemented with a Reno's Jumbo Chicken and Jalopina pizza, and a few adult bevera...
"...and grab a bottle of water!" What a great idea, maybe you should market that, I bet most of those visiting and sipping didn't notice what they had in their hands! I forgot to grab one on my way out so if you have any left over please save one for me on my next visit. Congratulations Br...

What a great evening it was with Michael Ammar... Ditto on that! It was a fantastic night, the time flew by and it was a great lecture in a packed venue with an enthusiastic audience. Michael was so patient with the twits who asked the obvious questions or belabored a topic that was already covered...
I have an obscure reference to a version of the Professor's Nightmare that is in Richard's Collected Almanac, but I have been unsuccessful in locating anything related to it in the book. I have slowly leafed through the book twice without finding the article. I did not find it in the cumulative indi...
I wish Brent would lay off the continual promotion of his store and products here on the forums. Brent is providing an extra level of service at his Brick and Mortar store by sponsoring events and scheduling lectures of contemporary magicians on a regular basis. The Genii forum is an excellent plac...

Richard - Before the nit-pickers start to complain after I have won the entire pile of prizes, your "Official Contest Rules" may have a slight error in them, unless you are purposely trying to misdirect some of us out here in subscription land. The "Official Contest Rules" includ...
