Re: New EATCT book by David Ben

It's the first of three volumes? Can you give us a rough overview of how the books are going to be divided?

On a side note, is the Dad Stevens book still in the long grass or will some of that material make it into these volumes?

Re: Cups and Balls ala Count Arthur Strong

Going to see his stage show in a few months. Off topic but I think Linehan has really emasculated Delaney's creation. The radio show is/was pure genius.

Re: Get Out Your Money: The Hollingworth Collection is Here!

Of all the products to accuse of overhype and it is what is in effect the collected works of Guy Hollingworth that gets singled out as an example....

Would still like a list of actual new content though.

Re: Smoothini on AGT

Approaching the judges at their desk was a really smart thing to do. It brought an intimacy that would have been completely lacking if a spectator had been asked up onto the stage (which would look a bit hokey and 'here we go again, another bloody magician'....) It also put Smoothini on the same lev...

Re: Hold On! Second Genii Convention Coming in Oct. 2015

As far as Jennings, I am not writing the books simultaneously. "EZ" has been 99% written for several years. Only about 150 page of "Tough" have been written. Sorry, my mistake. I thought I remembered you saying in an an older post that working on 'Takes It Easy' inevitably leads...

Re: Magicians stealing

At the risk of breaking taboos and straying into the realms of common sense for a minute: why the hell shouldn't Paul Daniels sell films of his own performances? I don't mean legally, I mean morally and ethically. I have lawyers on all sides of the family, it's not the legal issue I'm thinking of. ...

I don't judge ethics by those standards. But surely you must be able to distinguish speculation from divination? It must be very strange living a life with absolutely no guage of verisimilitude. Re: What American Idol has to do with magic

Problem? For whom? For me. As a producer, musician and lover of music.
