Need help with expanding "reset" walkaround...

After a great evening of doing table magic, I realized that I am shorter on "resetting" effects (mostly without cards) than I would like to be. Any help?

I can't say enough great things about this app. Well done, Carl Andrews (did you come up with it?) You also sold me on "Dishonest Abe handling (different thread - sorry) at your lecture. I have tried 2 of the "Premier Apps," with disappointing results: Difficult to launch, getting &qu...

"The War Magician"

I've heard from a director friend that the Fisher book, "The War Magician," was tagged in 2001 to be made into a film by Paramount, starring Tom Cruise.

Does anyone know anything about this? Yikes!

Re: Gluing Cards Together

To make gaffed "stacks," I lightly sandpaper the adjacent card faces and use Weldbond Adhesive (sparingly) to lute them together. I hope this helps!

I still have my "Haunted Mansion" secret puzzle box (with 2 monorail tickets still inside the hidden drawer) from the shop. I think it was then called "Merlin's Magic Shop."

iHypno = iGypno

Have any of you had trouble with your Hottrix iHypno app deactivating itself on multiple occasions? I am quite experienced in computer matters, and the tech support for this product is of the nature of "is the unit plugged in?" Sort of an insult. Finally, my purchased iHypno shut me down b...

Re: DANNY GANS CAUSE OF DEATH

I always loved Danny's act in Vegas. It always amazes me how people like DG, P & T, Lance and many others can sustain such high levels of energy over so many performances. It is a tragic loss, and it doesn't surprise me that Danny had some ailments, because the show always had to go on, and he i...

Re: Mahka Tendo is Dead at 49

I was Tendo's backstage assistant once in New York. I still remember how he asked that I 'pick up the cards off of the stage,' and not sweep them up with a broom.

He was a gentle, most talented man.

War of the Worlds 2

Did anyone catch this C. Thomas Howell movie on SciFi Channel the other night?

It featured Jonathan Levitt, with cameos by David Regal, Murray, and others from the Castle's magic reality show.

Didn't enjoy the film as much as looking for the magicians therein.

Re: Viking Himber rings experience?

Hi Roland, The linking finger rings have been a staple of my stand-up act. I was advised long ago to avoid "ladies finger rings," for liability reasons. I stick to men's rings, stating that they are heartier and easier for everyone to see. I've had a few ladies diamond rings passed up to m...

I can't sing enough praise for this set. If you perform the MD, are curious about its history or wish to add it to your show, buy this set.

Well filmed, well referenced by Levent, and very comprehensive. Not too many "sets" available these days that are comparable to this one.
