As an author of 40 years, I would say that mistakes are LESS likely to be spotted by the writer than by proofreaders. And as someone who did proofreading for a living (ugh) for a decade or so I would heartily agree with that. ............................................................................

In Vienna, maybe a pilgrimage to Doblergasse, a street named after Ludwig Doebler, Hofzinser's mentor (or at least inspiration). Only street anywhere named after a magician (at one time, there's probably others nowadays). More Vienna info in the December 2005 MUM article "Walking in Vienna".
