Sorry if this is seen as a bump, but I've had a few inquiries, and some of the issues are on hold. However, Walt is still open to offers. His preference is for a local buyer, but he's willing to drive them to the buyer.

Bob, the Dremmel is pretty easy to use (like a fat pencil). If you can't do it free hand, then proceed as follows - Use the PC to design the pictures or letters in the appropriate size. Create a mirror of the design, and then print the design using a laser jet printer. With a warmish iron, iron the ...

I guess my favorite Tenyo (which I still occasionally perform!) is "Crystal Cleaver". It's one effect that almost demands explanation. So, I do the effect twice. After performiing it, I reset it, and explain the workings. I then show the inside spring. I then position the whole cover and c...

Bob, the easiest way is probably your original method. Also, there is no need to get special rub-ons; traditional letraset should do the job (although these are getting hard to find). Spraying with a polyurethane varnish should seal the job and give you permanence. As Jim points out, blank dice are ...

Thanks for the replies. David, the "Fautus Ring" first appears in "Dan Garrett does the UK". It's a 3 phase routine and in the all three phases, the spec places the ring on the rope (albeit just the first inch of it). In the final stage, the magician (apparently) takes the ring o...

A mechanical version? Joe Torres (?) used to sell a chop cup that had a loose inner lining on half of the cup. You would pull the lining inwardly, creating a pocket. You could then drop the dice into this pocket and sack the dice. However, there was no noise as the dice didn't have room to move arou...

Many good references here (and there are many more), but one very good effect is missing: "Poker Pot". It's basically a Boston box for dice used primarily in dice through table (and other penetrations, eg thru silk) and dice matrix.

What is the "official" name for the following moves, and who gets credit for them:

(2) Similar result, but this time starting from a swing cut.
Thanks in advance

Richard, I chose $5 only because I think of that as the Duane Read price level. If we shift the market from the corner drug store to the specialist casino supply stores, then the current $20 is well within that consumer's price range for a marked deck. Inxidentally, the usual charge for good marked ...
