Re: Scotch and Soda Repair

I would imagine that a very strong, very thin glue would do the trick. Maybe Crazy Glue but I am not an expert on these matters.

If he decides to try it, tell him not to overdo it! You don't want the glue to leak out of the sides of the coins!

Re: Royal road to card magic

In this day and age, after watching Mark do his Svengali deck routine, I can't imagine why everyone standing there wouldn't toss him a ten spot for a magic deck of cards and instructions for 25 tricks.

That's quite a bargain in 2017!

I missed the beginning but I saw him do a card trick. He wanted to use a flame from a candle at the beginning of the effect but said it was too windy so he couldn't use the flame. A selected and signed card was revealed.

Every now and then, a set in the red binder in varying degrees of condition (and sometimes completeness) shows up for sale and sells for anywhere from $75 to $125 give or take a bit.

So, with some patience, one can be gotten without paying a fortune.

Very good--I'm glad this myth is put to rest. Appreciate the information! Please don't put it to rest yet. I was told many years ago that the cover card was the result of an error which needed to be covered up. One book having one doesn't mean that another title had one for the same reason. If some...

AGT is supposed to be about talent. Other factors should not play into it really but AGT seems to have used that theme in their shows. I do agree that only the talent should be the determining factor in selecting a winner. AGT has other issues with their show. Last night, after two hours of waiting,...

On one hand, I think it's wonderful when they highlight a talent who has or is currently trying to overcome a hardship. I am truly inspired and delighted by these people and feel for them greatly. On the other hand, they should not dwell on the issue and it should be a genuine hardship if they are g...

I suspect a motorized mechanism which slides each volume out of the slipcase one book at a time would be nice.

When you want to return the book to the slipcase, it would do that for you as well.

Wouldn't such a wonderful convenience be worth every penny?

That way, I don't have to lift the set. I suggest that a set like Tenyoi...
