I'm looking forward to this. Labyrinth had a lot of good material in it. But I'm also glad I never yielded to the temptation to spend $400-500 (or even more) for a set of the magazines. Yes, I'm very glad . [For future readers of this post, after link rot has set in. A lot of 9 original issues on e...

There is such a difference between the audience of novelty hungry magic fans and the general audience of folks who want to be entertained and like magic. Look at the date on Dan's book and the year he first offered the trick... Glad you also like Dan's trick. The flip book animation is a winner of ...

The light bulb is Season 1 episode 17.

There is some fantastic magic being done on this show and it all looks spur of the moment and impromptu thanks to Carbonaro's acting skiils. I just watched an episode where he told a woman that since she spent $20 (in the hardware store) she got a free all purpose bulb. He proceeded to hand her a fl...

I seem to recall in the 70's there was a US magic show made up of partially edited acts from FISM. Sometimes, only one trick would be shown. Other times, the entire act would be broadcast. Tom, do you need a gimmick for each version that you might choose to perform? You wrote that you are provided enough material to construct several gimmicks if it breaks but does that mean repair it or can you actually make several different gimmicks to do different effects?
