Re: How does one access the Magic Magazine archives?
Many thanks, y'all got me to the right place. I've gotta say, the subscription price for Genii Magazine, with all the benefits and access to things magica, is one of the best values around.

Re: Robert-Houdin, Roberto Giobbi, and an Actor Prepares
I think R-H meant that a conjurer is not a juggler; he is an actor playing the part of a magician.
And I think Mr. Giobbi disagrees with that statement.
But I could be wrong.

Frank Garcia columnist for TOPS or NEW TOPS?
Was Frank Garcia a columnist for either of these magazines, and if so, does anyone know the inclusive dates of the magazine in which his columns appeared?
Thanks!

Re: FS OR TRADE: The Gene Maze Card Book
It's a booklet (stapled, I think, but not sure) put out by an IBM Ring in the Northeast (Philly?) around 1954, probably for a lecture by FG at their meeting. I think it's a stapled booklet.
It's about the only English language book(let) I know of by FG that I don't have in my collection.

Re: Looking for this card trick
The trick I'm looking for vaguely reminds me of Skinner's Miracle Speller. What a great trick that is! But that's not it. I remember an additional feature of the trick I'm looking for: If using a blue deck, one red-backed Ace is utilized somehow. Also, I'm almost positive that the name of the trick ...

Thanks for the reply, but that's not it. Standard playing cards. But I seriously respect your encyclopedic knowledge and willingness to share that knowledge.
Thanks again.

Looking for this card trick
Years ago, I ran across a spelling trick I liked. I never performed it but now I want to dredge it up and perhaps add it to my routine. It's called something like "The World Famous [Spectator's Name] Trick". It was not in a magazine. I've looked in all my Fulves books, including the Jordan...

Hi Sam,
I too sent email to the wrong address, then saw your correction and sent another to the new, correct address, but I haven't heard from you.
Wanted to purchase the Meant to Be book by Born.
Where do we stand on that?
Thanks.
Phil

Magic Craig's 16mm Color Film Collection
I read in Genii that Magic Craig donated his entire library of color film of magicians to the Magic Castle.
Has this collection been digitized? Is it extant? Can non-members of the MC gain access to this resource?
TIA

Five Card Stunner
Aldo Colombini has a marketed trick called Five Card Mystery. It is said that it is based on Frank Garcia's Five Card Stunner. Can anyone help me track down where the Stunner effect is published, or absent that, where (if) it can be purchased?
Many thanks.
