Martin Breese has Passed

I am saddened to report that my friend and business associate, Martin Breese, passed away today in Brighton. Martin had been fighting Leukemia for the past 14 months. At one stage I really thought he had it beat. But, now the fight is over. My heart goes out to his wife, Pang, and to his family. Peter

When you upload a video to YouTube, among a host of privacy settings there is: Yes, external sites may embed and play this video. No, external sites may NOT embed and play this video. Only by selecting the latter is the embedding code hidden. If you select the former, the wording is obvious. Peter

PAUS (and POUS which is simply PAUS in reverse) was inspired by the Carlyle Turnover. After I had developed the move I noted that "it is not unlike Roy Walton's Trigger in appearance."

I never met Bill Reid, and I think he died some years ago. Bill Reid inspired Elmsley in his Faro work. Reid wrote a manuscript but I am unsure if any copies exist today.

The above post from Philippe prompted me to check out the lecture notes entitled: "Alex is at it Again" (self-published, 1997) and the shuffle in question is, indeed, there. It's called "Continuous Pick-Up Shuffle."
