Re: John Calvert has Died

The first time I met John Calvert was when he was "just a kid" at 94. I met him at the Invisible Lodge Convention in Fort Smith Arkansas. Besides a lecture and a performance he did a blindfolded drive through the downtown streets of Fort Smith----during rush hour. I was able to visit with ...

Mark Wilson's Complete Course in Magic is still in print and is one of the best references for all kinds of magic. I see it at Barnes & Noble and it is frequently at used book stores as well. A new copy is about $20. There is not a better gift for the budding magician.

Broken Wand - Ruth Pitts

I was informed yesterday that Ruth Pitts, wife of IBM Past International President Bill Pitts passed away on the 22nd. I knew Ruth through visiting with her at the Cavalcade of Magic that she and Bill put on in Arkansas and at various meetings of the Invisible Lodge of which she was a member. It was...

His envelopes prevent the need for double backers. The Pocket Technicolor Prediction is a good trick itself...

John, looks like a very handy utility item. I would suggest that you invest in a clip-on microphone when you shoot your video so you can be more easily heard. The rest of the production is glossy, but the sound is poor--I had a hard time hearing what you were saying. I can't tell whether the specta...

Re: Card Peeling

Basically you just put a piece of DMT between the sides of the card and apply heat through an iron or somethibng. I use a heating iron I got from a hobby shop (one that sells RC airplanes and the like).

Probbaly a Google for Dry Mount Tissue will lead to some directions for use.

The main difference betweel Martini's DvD method and Gaff Factory is the way they "glue" the pieces together.

Martini uses rubber cement, and Gaff Factory uses dry mount tissue. Either method works well.

If Henderson doesn't live in Michigan why sue in Michigan? Nagler lives in Michigan. The suit was filed in federal court, not state court.
