The It's a Southern Thing You Tube channel posted this "comedy" video. As a kid's performer, it makes me wonder how really people see us.

One of my favorite magic CDs is Harry Anderson's Magic: An Insider's View. It's not only a fantastic introduction to magic, Harry is genuinely entertaining all through the CD. Only wish I could play it on my laptop. I have a new Windows 10 laptop and I have several magic CDs I wish I could play on i...

Great podcast. I really enjoyed Stan's explanation of Magic Magazine's digital format strategy. Stan Allen, RK, Randy Pitchford, Kozmo and anyone else who publishes magic periodicals – my respect for what they do knows no bounds. It’s easy to take what they do for granted.

The Final Magic Magazine
The mail carrier just dropped off the final issue of Magic Magazine. I just thumbed through it. Everyone has their favorite part and mine is the Mike Bent column. A truly wonderful magazine and an amazing way to end 25 years. Magic magazines are like friends that come to visit each month. I'll miss ...

Re: If You Were a MAGIC Magazine Subscriber, You Can Roll it Over to Genii
Thank you Richard and Stan. I bought into the Magic Legacy offer and was kind of bummed out when it got cancelled. It's a no-brainer to roll over Magic Magazine issues into my Genii magazine subscription. I still wish there was some way Mike Bent could have his column continued. It's my favorite non...

I didn’t mean to cause any fuss. Sorry. I’ve just been buying products from David Kaye, for well, … forever. Way, way before he even had a website - you had to know someone who knew him to get his email address. Then you would email him, he would email you, ask what you wanted, quote you a current p...

Super Sized Silly just arrived !!!
The mail carrier just came by and Holy Guacamole Batman !!! Super Sized Silly is now in my hot little hands! I pre-ordered, so I got the extra trick and gimmick. Very, very cool. The book is amazing. The back includes quite a few indexes – by author, by trick, by issue, etc. Wow. The original articl...

Re: New P&T Magic Set
Seriously? Penn's saying their the first ones to actually teach the tricks on a video? ??? A quick YouTube search for Marshall Brodien's kits in the 1990's shows him demonstrating and teaching his tricks on a 1990's VHS video, teaching the tricks that came with his magic set. Way before Penn & T...

What a lie! Marshall Brodien's magic sets had VHS tapes with Marshall himself performing / explaining the tricks. A quick search on YouTube and you can find them easily. The first one to do it ???. What a crock !

Dodd,
I know David Regal's interview was lost due to a computer failure. Is there any plans for another try with David? I know he is busy with TV projects. As always, great job. Too bad David Kaye's internet connection failed during the last Magic Newswire show.

January 2015 Issue of Genii Just Arrived !!!
The January 2015 issue of Genii just arrived in Minot, N.D. Jay Alexander's interview about client / friend Robin Williams was very touching. Re: hank lee out of jail
I think TED M said it best. It was more than just a single wealthy customer that was ripped off. Many average magicians, like myself, were treated very badly by Hank Lee. It was not uncommon to order something in winter and in the middle of spring you finally received what you had paid for. Years ag...

Re: hank lee out of jail
Don't forget Richard, you hit the nail on the head. Hank Lee said to hold onto your Magic Factory gift cards for later use. You called him on that garbage, then he sold his entire magic inventory to someone else. Gift cards now worthless. Just that act alone makes him the last person in the world I ...

I live in North Dakota, so my perspective is a little different. It's going to be -20 degrees tonight. No big deal.
