Richard My uncle used a version purchased in the early 50's that was an approximately 8 by 11 sheet of metal painted white and red card board poker chips with magnets glued in hollows in the chips for the moving dots. The stationary dots were split poker chips that were glued to the metal sheet. I h...

Since the topic is back Does anyone know who invented the Jap Box and when? From an old Billboard Aug 24 1918 W J Hillier's column "Why not a revival of 'finger In the hole' box made famous by the late Ed Vernello, and more recently, used by Van Hoven? It is an excellent comedy trick in proper ...

The truffle shuffle is great. Thnaks to Derek for releasing it.

One thing that helped me while I developed the strength in my hands was to start out with an older deck and then move on the a newer and then a new deck.

Bruce Cervon's card and bill versions in Ultra Cervon are spectacular.

Good luck with the project.

Richard

Can you please detail the editions that K and G have published of The Complete Invocation? Were there both slipcased and non slipcased editions? How many of each were printed?
Thank you for your help.

Michael Close's Workers Books and DVDs have many routines that are non-card using business cards, bills, some coins and several effects based on origami figures. Great stuff.

I "met" Pete in the early 70's through Lloyd Jones The Club and Petes's Leaflet. I still do a routine he outlined using a frog and a bag.

Thank you Pete for all the fun that has come from this routine and your many other contributions through the years.

Noah Levine mentions Chuck Smith's ending. I have seen many references here on the Forum and in other places (Fisher's Bicycle Thief DVD) to Smith's routine. Is it published or commercially available?
