Re: Martin Lewis
My father was an airline pilot and he used to stop by Earthquake McGoon's and the Magic Cellar on his trips to San Francisco in the seventies (this is back when airline crews actually stayed in downtowns, not crappy airport hotels). I was too young to visit, but was always fascinated that this place...

There’s no easy way to make a living in this world, but I think it’s especially hard when you’re attempting it on your own. Having a partner, though, can help through the inevitable ups and downs. I think Penn & Teller have the right idea. I think Josh Jay & Andi Gladwin, Chef Anton & Wh...

There is no charge for the 'Friends and Family' payment option in the US if you either: 1) use funds from your Paypal balance; or 2) use funds from a bank balance.

It would appear the writer of the Reuters story was misinformed when he described Daryl’s death as “accidental”. The official coroner’s report states that it was a suicide by hanging. This is terrible and shocking news. I understand the depression and pain part, but I don’t understand why someone would choose to do such a thing in a public venue. What could possibly motivate someone to do this in such a public way?

Does anyone remember Barnum’s Kaleidoscape show (circa 1999-2000)? It was fantastic, a one-ring circus that toured with its own tent. More like a European-style circus, it featured legendary Italian clown David Larible. The only animals I remember were a team of beautiful white horses and maybe some...

If you have a set of these that you'd like to sell, please send me an email:
robertmerrill@austin.rr.com
I'd prefer white ones, and would also prefer to buy a set that includes the plastic tube they were originally packaged in.

Jimmy Fallon played the perfect foil during the routine - he let Ricky do his job and it was entertaining and funny. If Ricky tried this with David Letterman, Dave would spend the entire time asking him why he couldn't take one of the center cards.

I love the idea of hollowing out a Moleskine, Dan, it would be a great way to carry small props as you suggest (the Major Arcana of a Tarot deck come to mind).
