The short answer is no. There should be plenty of them (one was recently on eBay), but for some reason there are not.

Re: Charlie Miller's published works...

Most of the material in the Csuri notes has been published, with the exception of the Miller material and the Paul Fox material. Aside from the items he published himself, or chose to let others publish, Miller did not want his material published, which is why it has not happened.

Miller is listed as author in the Busby Jennings book because those tricks were taken directly from Genii.

Erdnase didn't have a comprehensive plan to completely conceal his identity, otherwise the book would have said "Anonymous" on the spine. Writing "Anonymous" would have invited much more inquiry much earlier. This is not accurate. Being an anonymous author invited no more scruti...

Re: Hofzinser Seminar in Madrid on November 18th

The most interesting thing I learnt from the Magic Christian Hofzinser books was that old JN himself opened his card section with lots of flourishes including switching in and out trick decks. These flourishes were regularly mentioned and complimented in contemporary newspapers and not one of those...

L&L's reprint of the Ganson series is irrelevant to this discussion because they were able to scan from the original glossy photographs. That is not the case with The Stars of Magic.

I mean the Hofzinser book that Dani is doing. I do know that Minch does have the book in the works, ...

Re: What is the story behind this printing of SOM?

Using a "cover card" (as it's called) is not unusual in publishing. Tannen's, for example, also used a cover card for Cliff Green's Professional Card Magic in 1961 (which I believe may have been the same year as their first bound printed edition of Stars of Magic).

The act of scanning screened black and white photos without descreening them creates lines and moire pattern.
The only way to compare them is to take photographs of the photos and post those.
