Doc,

Jeff Busby passed in 2/2014, but a search of his funeral information online, will show some family members that you might be able to contact to continue your quest for Frank Shields info.

Bob Nelson's Secret Invention

Hi! I won Bob Nelson's Secret Invention on the Billy McComb auction. I understand this to be a two way communication device used by mentalists. I was hoping someone might be able to provide me instructions to the device and also be able to tell me a little about its history. Thanks! Rick Belford

Request for Peter Lane E-mail

Hi!

Would anyone be able to provide an e-mail address for Peter Lane? I left an e-mail with the general mailbox at the Magic Circle, but it has been several days and I have not received a response.

Thanks!

Dave,

Thanks for the reply (sent you a PM); however, when I check information it has a listing on that street for Robert Nelson, but says it is "non published", in other words, there is no number. Anyone else out there know how I might be able to get in touch with Robert?

Would anyone know what happened to Robert Nelson (not the same Robert Nelson who sold mentalism/spook show supplies) who lived in High Point, NC, and periodically published collectible magic lists?

Pete, No, it is not really similar to the Leon's Miniature Haunted House. The effect is three cards are chosen and they all rise from the haunted house's chimney. At the end the house which was shown empty produces a spring ghost -- not the most earth-shattering effect, by any means! I know from loo...
