Joe, I also have Ricardo's Card Artifice" & "Ricardo's Intimate Secrets of Card Classics & Fantastic Gems of Close-up Magic". I recall buying a gimmicked card stab effect from him also. I agree some great material was in the books. I was just wondering what he was like in pers...

I'm curious if any of you have any information on Frank Pemper. He wrote some card magic books quite awhile ago. I recall his writing style was very unusual and was wondering whatever happened to him, etc.

I believe cards that vary in thickness, could create an interesting challange for cardmen who do estimation. Most of us don't do enough of this type of work to have it affect us.

Try tapping the bottom edge of the deck against a hard surface, such as a table, before performing the force.
