Re: Magic in Theater Plays
Thank you so much for input! I should have been a bit more clear... I am looking for plays that could incorporate magic effects for use by a high school or community theater as I direct, not professionally, in those areas. I know that "A Christmas Carol" can have magical moments, and I've ...

If anyone could help by naming plays that contain elements of theatrical magic, or could, it would be appreciated. I know Teller's work in this area with Shakespeare classics. Is there anything more modern? Thanks!

Mr. Ash, Chicago Magic Dealer and Magician has Died
I always wanted to go to Ash's Magic Shop in Chicago as it sounded like the Midwest version of Flosso's where you could find just about anything if you searched long enough. Alas, while in Chicago last summer, I stayed at Magic, Inc. too long and never made it over to Ash's. He sounded like a wonder...

I was very lucky that I received one as the "free magic trick" when I ordered my Sun Magic Company Magic and Novelty Co. catalog from the back of Boys' Life Magazine when i was 14. I loved the thing. In my mid-thirties I was working as an elementary science teacher and Toyota was offering ...

Bosley and Henning - Little Nemo
I seem to remember on a Doug Henning special that Tom Bosley was a guest host. One of the pieces was Tom Bosley's face was part of a "Little Nemo" outfit while Little Nemo's hands were Doug Henning's. No doubt, Nemo's legs and feet were Bosley's arms and hands. Somehow Little Nemo did magi...

Can anyone shed light on the the background of Jim Temple, the creator of "Color Monte"? He seems to have created one of the most popular packet tricks ever (put one of Art Emerson's children through college), yet I can find nothing about the man. Thanks!

Hello!
I am trying to source the Demonstrator's Dream books by Lex Zaleta. I found them on a cached version of Micky Hades site, yet there was no current site. If anyone would care to remark about the books, or where they might be found, it would be appreciated.
Thanks!
