Wow! Jonathan, I'm not sure if you've written anything for MagicPedia, but the site could definitely use someone with your knowledge and insight. I think that would be more productive than the tone and attitude you displayed in your above post.

So sorry. I just followed the link to the website provided by James and that Magicana is clearly a different entity with the same name.

I apologize if the answer to this is common knowledge, but I was confused when reading James's post - is the Magicana you're referring to different from the Magicana associated with Genii?

For what it's worth, I have every issue and I feel the magazine is worth whatever wait is necessary.

I always delete e-mails with no subject heading. A) They're probably SPAM, and B) It's the epitome of laziness.

I really enjoy all the regular columnists in Genii right now, but I'm wondering if there are any new "trick" columnists on the horizon (like Maven, Farmer, Acer, etc.). Michael Weber? Jerry Sadowitz? J.K. Hartman? Just curious...

I'd like to add the somewhat more contemporary but rarely talked about Fr. Cyprian to that list.

I didn't see any part of the Jerry Lewis Telethon, so I can't speak to the quality, hipness or hokeyness of either the Pendragons or Steve Dacri, but I will say this - it ticks me off when a guy comes on the Genii forum and starts ripping into other acts when he doesn't even have the gonads to use h...

I don't know what their criteria is, but it's as good a place as any to start.

A damn good question... I really enjoyed the Lovell DVDs (METHODS BEHIND THE MADNESS) and, more recently, the two-volume ROMAINE set (this man is a joy to watch).
