While the article has some interesting topics at the end, I don't believe the exposure of these two methods advanced the article at all. It seems like a call for attention rather than a scholarly discourse.

Costco cards are "decent". These are less so. Certainly better than the most previous batch, but that is not saying much. To be fair, these are close to Costco, but not quite there.

McDonalds made a bunch of money with a small margin by increased demand for a product. They sure did, but this would be like them suddenly selling Kobe beef fillets instead of crappy cheap hamburgers to poor, stupid people with no sense of taste. I wouldn't call these Kobe Beef Playing cards. Neith...

Re: New Magic Castle Cards
The new decks are better than those of the just previous version, but not as good as the decks from the 70's. They cost a dollar more than the recent old style, so the margin is safe. They handle much better than the recent old style, so now magicians can handle them well and it has a bit of cache t...

Re: Hack Lines that Magicians Should Avoid
With all due respect, many of those lines are hack lines and some are used very well in context by not the originator of the line. I expect that many were developed in parallel. It is easy to be exposed to world wide performances now, but many acts were developed in the 70's and 80's before the wide...

Not a fan of showing the large load at the beginning and openly placing it in the pocket. I prefer them to a be a total impossible surprise. This is contaminated with a magician's familiarity with the routine. Also, it looks a bit too busy with much extraneous handling of the cups by the magician. I...

Yep, Oswald, you are wrong in this case. When two things are listed as choices, the former is the first one. Perhaps that little alliteration will help you remember.
