I bought this many years ago from Daryl. The instructions were just printed on paper. The cards are not gimmicked. It came with the 6 card set but to replace them you just need three different decks with contrasting backs.

Re: Index of Dover Magic Books
Great list! The one title that I didn't see on it is their 2010 publication 60 Great Magic Posters, book plus DVD, edited by Carol Belanger Grafton. $16.95, ISBN-13: 978-0-486-99103-0, ISBN-10: 0-486-99103-2. 64 pages. 11x8.25 format, plus DVD with a slideshow of the images, plus a link to addition...

Old Magazines, DVD's and VHS
I am wondering what to do with my collection. There doesn't seem to be much of a market for old Genii's, Magic Magazines, Linking Ring Magazines, VHS...even DVD's don't sell. Do people end up dumping them in the recycling? I plan on maintaining my digital subscription to Genii and therefore have acc...

I just renewed my digital Genii subscription (which gives me access to every past issue and all the issues of Magic) for 3 years. Re: THR Story Re: Roy's Accident
I wrote this before seeing Brad's reply: I wasn't trying to make a definitive statement about animals in captivity. Siegfried and Roy apparently did a lot to save white tigers from extinction. Zoos also do a lot of animal husbandry, raise awareness etc. It's not black and white and good arguments ca...

I believe it was the summer of 1982 that I spent a month traveling with Circus Vargas. I have a lot of memories packed into that month. I worked inside the tent on the security crew. I was basically an usher. Because I worked inside the tent, I knew the show verbatim. At the time, it was a three rin...

I was performing walkaround for a law firm. I asked to borrow a dollar bill and the guy took it out of his wallet, looked at the serial number and announced, "3609 B". I switched it out for a $100 bill and the last four digits and letter matched exactly.

Re: The Trick with the Strongest Reaction from Laymen
I would say the $100 bill switch consistently gets the best reactions. People have an emotional connection with money and if someone could really do magic, they would turn dollars into hundreds rather than do tricks with cards or some other prop.

Hi Jon,
Are you familiar with 'Mystery Solved'?
Do you think the version with clean box but but dirty hands is inherently better than clean hands but dirty box?
Why7?

I have been performing “Mystery Solved” by David Penn in paid shows. He has two versions, one with the box being examinable but not your hands and first version with the box not being examinable but your hands are clean. The effect is the same if performed well. I really don’t think one is stronger ...

Rather than edit my previous post, I would like to clarify. Bait and switch is how it feels to me but I don't believe Todd Karr set out to deceive. Re: Michael and I Tried
I am sorry I used the word libel.
I do feel that Todd isn't taking any responsibility when he says. "Michael's busy international schedule prevented us from making it happen."
I believe Michael Weber when he says he gave Todd the annotations years ago.
