Hi--I don't have that Bilbio., per se....but I believe that I would have a lot of that information scattered among my notes. btw - I think that even with the best of intentions, Don Tanner would have been hard pressed to list 100% ALL of the magic inventions & concepts published by Gen Grant dur...

Re: Don O'Neal & UF Grant?

Hi: Don O' Neal and Don Tanner were most definitely two different people. Basically, in the early 1970's, Grant Magic was split up into two divisions: "smaller props" were handled by Gen...and the "larger props" were handled by their newly-formed MAK division. The last U.F. GRANT...

Hello Philippe: Yes, I was referring to the "Super-X" Suspension gimmick (The "Flying Box" certainly has its roots in that same-type gimmick). (btw--You didn't see the "Grant" name in the ad because Gen Grant was Percy's employee at the time, and although Grant was the ...

To cut to the chase...The "Flying Box" is simply a clever & brilliant application of the famous Abbott/Grant Suspension trick, circa 1941.

Antenna-TV/Carson Productions have been re-broadcasting the same "repeats" that they had aired all last year.

....great if you missed them the first time, but there are so many, many, many more performances that I hope will be shown again.

Last night (Sept. 27), Johnny's guest was 4 year old child actor Miko Hughes (a 1991 episode). Miko talked about going to the Magic Castle, and being startled upon seeing a "witch's hand, with balls between the fingers, emerging from the wall, towards him" (he was referring to a spooky fra...

Selfishly, I wish that some of Penn's "clues" would be more subtle. i.e. The other night, he could have just said "Mercury" or "Planet Mercury"...instead of him actually saying "Mercury (card) FOLD". I like when the clues aren't overtly obvious, such as when a...
