Never read the Dandy myself, but my younger brother was a fan. I instead opted for the 1980s revamped Eagle comic as well as the incredibly short-lived Scream!; Dan Dare and the Mekon, Doomlord, The Thirteenth Floor ... great stuff.

Paul, I believe I am correct in saying Dreamer's Highway is available new from a former Cellini student, for $70. If that's the case, the formation of any line may take longer than expected. <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.magicfunwithpeople.com/html/magic_items.html">http://www.magic...

Re: Question about Ganson's The Magic of Slydini

Andrew, the Harry Stanley edition of The Magic of Slydini I previously owned was bound in black-pebbled cloth and featured the same glossy enamel stock Richard describes. The dust jacket also had a glossy finish and was a deep red in colour complete with a mono portrait of Slydini. However, now that...

Re: Question about Ganson's The Magic of Slydini

As Philippe points out, the Harry Stanley edition came first. Very nicely produced and I sold my copy, complete with original dust jacket, not too long ago for - I think - 30; a little less than I purchased it for a few years previously. Though I haven't seen the Supreme Magic edition, if it's anyth...

Interesting you should ask this question because I did wonder myself. In the late 1980s I saw it listed in a Supreme Magic Catalogue where it was credited to the late Ken Savage. I met Ken once or twice and he was a very nice chap and well known entertainer here in Devon, England, during the 1970s a...

Peter Kane used to say that the Elmsley Count should be heard as well as seen.
