Maddened, You might want to consider a thin paperback book test, such as Larry Becker's "Flashback", or one of its incarnations. Thin enough to fit in your pocket and the outcome will most likely be different every time you do it. Another effect that might fit the bill is the recently rele...

Re: Table Lifters

The problem with Losander's table in a seance setting is that the performer/medium must have contact with the table...or rather the cloth...or use a stooge. I, personally, would rather avoid that, and not touch the table/cloth at all, having only the spectators touch it. Maritess, can you give us so...

Something I started doing recently is Annemann's Telephone Book Test. You borrow the phone book at the venue ( call ahead first to be sure they will have one handy for you)

It is killer.

Lior's Mobile Opener is a fine piece of mentalism. It is a strong opener to a mentalist's routine that will get the audience laughing and still see that the mentalist is capable of some remarkable things. It easily can set the tone for your show. In addition to that, it takes care of a problem that ...

Bill,
Larry has very forcfully stated that its not true. I would reproduce his reply on the issue from the magic cafe, but don't know if that's permitted and I haven't asked Larry yet if he wants me to.

If yes in both cases, I will post it later tonight (Wed) or tomorrow.

This book has advice from which we as magicians/mentalists can all benefit. The advice is taken from Ken's decades of experience in full time performing. It has my highest recommendation.
