Re: Frank Garcia Books

Somebody ought to go through the books and make a list of every trick, and what was the original name of the trick, who created it, and where was it originally published. Then we wouldn't need those books.

Re: Credit help

One of the interesting features of this trick—the Bannon version, anyway—is that it seems like a prediction without requiring a prediction. The spectator mixes a bunch of cards, and at the end, there are four cards face up, and they're all aces. This factor might be lessened if the cards are all dif...

If I may, that is not what you need to know. You need to know whether this copying of your kindle books is a) hurting your sales, b) is having no effect, or c) is helping them. Based on everything I have seen, both inside and outside of magic, I think the answer is, most likely, either b or c. Not e...

Re: Question about how to ask for advice on here

I wonder what an audience would think you are doing. Would they think you were displaying the top card and dealing it to the table? I doubt that very much. I suspect they would be confused, and not know what you are doing. I suspect that would be true for that move no matter how many repetitions you...

printerstudio.com will print a complete custom deck of cards—you can upload images for both the face and back of every card—for about $20. Pretty good price for a single deck. The quality is not quite USPCC but it is close enough for most purposes, including sleight of hand. I've used them several t...
