Puzzle Box book - Locked Edition!

I enjoyed the great book review by Francis Menotti of Peter Hajek’s wonderful book on puzzle boxes, “Enter If You Can,” in the August 2022 edition of Genii. It wasn’t mentioned in the review, but there is also a “locked edition” of the book that requires solving a puzzle lock to get in! (Puzzle lock...

I saw the show on opening night and, despite some opening night issues that I’m sure have been long sorted out, really enjoyed the venue and the performance. The venue was well set up and felt intimate; the “puzzle room” prior to the show was enjoyable and it was fun chatting with other audience mem...

My office is in Times Square and I'd prefer Monte workers to the horrible costumed characters that are running around trying to get tips for taking photos with tourists.

Would be great if a decent magician or two would start busking in Times Square!!!

Highly recommended!!! If in NYC, it's a must see show.

Incidentally, this reminds me that a lot of nonsense is spouted in books for magicians about so called "cold reading". Virtually all of them self righteously emphasise that a reader should always tell a client to see a doctor if they have medical issues. Performer- the problem is that whe...
