nail roulette performed with an egg?
Desperately need the name of a "nail roulette" routine in which an egg is used in place of the nail. Briefly, the egg is in one of three paper bags, two are chosen and smashed against the volunteer, the egg of course is in the remaining bag.

Chop Extra - help!
Awhile back I downloaded Chop Extra, watched it, then filed it. Now, I want to check something and can't because I stupidly forgot to record the password and of course I've forgotten what to look for on the Chop DVD that will open the thing. If someone out there in magicland can supply the clue, I'l...

Re: separating roughed cards
Many thanks for the suggestions, I plan on trying all the above. I should add that the late Sen. Crandall gave me an Invisible Card Deck that he'd corner shorted so that you could riffle the index to find the selected card, then spread to reveal. He maintained that some hands were just too dry to ev...

separating roughed cards
Believe it or not, I've been doing magic for a hap hazard living over the past hundred years or so, and have never been able to get roughed cards to separate. And I'm talking about "factory machined" as well as cards I've prepared myself. I've used varying degrees of "light" touc...

Re: coin through glass top table?
I'm going to answer my own question......The effect is "Melting Point" by Mariano Goni
though Liu Chen's Coins Thru is a beautiful thing to watch.

coin through glass top table?
Somewhere among the plethora of web promotions I saw a really smooth version of this effect. As I recall, the coin in question could even drop into a spectators hand or be passed through a window. I'm familiar with 'Descent' but this version looked much cleaner (at least in the promo) Can anyone sup...

Re: world's best card rise - help!
Not getting a whole lot of help here, I tried the DVD in a couple of players, computers all with no luck. I'm assuming, based on Leonards' post, that the rise happens due to friction against the card, which is the only way this thing makes sense. Confess I'm a rising card junkie and wanted to add th...

world's best card rise - help!
My problem (huge) purchased W.B.C.R. used and guess what? the DVD that explains all is blank! Now I have the gimmick, can sort of figure it out but am baffled as to how to use without the card(s) that rise being outjogged - since the certain something doesn't go below the King's nose. Could be the g...

Flood of DVD's - and therein lies the problem
This may not be the right place for this but here's one man's DVD dilemma. I find a complex routine I want to study that's on a DVD and, rather than endlessly replaying (which tends to cause me to mimic the exact routine as performed - removing all thought of inserting a presentation that is me) I w...

On the Hospitality DVD's he uses a set I would dearly love to have. He mentions the maker but I have yet to trace them down. Can anyone help?
