You will please pardon my ignorance, Mr. Townsend, but I honestly don't understand what you mean. It is tiresome that I must now feel the need to get into personal histories with Opie here on these forums to defend my point of view on a completely unrelated topic. Opie's ban from the MB forum has no...

Mr. Magic Bunny, or Nigel Shelton the site owner, did not delete the thread as is being mistakenly stated above. Just as with the thread on Magic Bunny, it would do everyone well to get their facts straight before they just go in with guns blazing. In the thread that was removed from the main forums...

Just a quick thank you to Mr. Kaufman for bringing up what I consider to be a big problem with the magic industry today - one trick DVDs. I have been whining about this problematic trend for years now and it feels very good to see that it is finally being addressed by much more important men in this...

In my opinion drawing an audience is the hardest trick in magic and the hardest trick in show business. Just my opinion. I fully agree with this. While this is late, very late, the credit for "Ashes on the Arm," goes to John White in the year 1718. It can be found in "White's Hocus Pocus."

In my book, any guy who knows/performs a great effect, doesn't expose the trick he's doing and entertains his audience IS a magician. I don't think that there is a set rule for how many effects a person needs to master before being given the title "Magician." In fact, I think there are tho...

The projectile part of a bullet can be removed with pliers just fine. It's easier with long pointy rifle bullets than short stubby pistol bullets, but particularly if they are lead bullets it's easily done w/out damage to the case if you pay attention.
