A study has found that using music to learn a physical task significantly develops an important part of the brain.

Interesting article. The article does NOT state that learning a new skill while listening to music improves mastery of that skill. But improving brain connectivity while practicing new slights can't be a bad thing :-) http://www.sbs.com.au/news/article/2017/07/06/music-boosts-brain-connectivity-stud...

Direct Triple Prediction by Harapan Ong

I'm pretty excited about Harapan Ong's Direct Triple Prediction in this months "Magicana"! This is a practical improvement of the old trick based on the one ahead principle with cards (point to the 5 of Spades, now point to the 8 of Diamonds, etc). This was one of the first card tricks I l...

Hi Richard,

I just registered (my first convention since the early 70's).

Now I am planning my transportation and hotel.

It would help me to know what time things kick off on the 4th?

Thanks!

Tom Stone’s Bluff Finesse

If you use the bluff pass at all you should check out "Tom Stone’s Bluff Finesse" on page 58 of this months issue. This move effectively combines tilt and the bluff pass and IMO is a real improvement on this move. I use the bluff pass regularly and for me this one page made my annual subsc...
