Re: Thanks for Sharing?

The two camps are these: 1) The general population who believe that magic is a fungible commodity, and 2) Those who believe that MAGIC is a rare and sacred thing that deserves to be treated with respect and reverence. It is not possible for the two to meet, and those who argue about "grey areas...

Re: Performing Deception: Learning, Skill and the Art of Conjuring

Edward,

Thank you.

I have long enjoyed your observations, opinions and personal contributions here on the forum.

Oddly, I had relatively large disagreements over your most recent suggestion the first and second times it was published, except for the exceptional Steranko cover art.

One could wait forever for a monkey locked in a room with a typewriter to produce Shakespeare. Even if the monkey produces Shakespeare, no one would want to read it because when you lock a monkey in a room it will sh*t all over everything. What you’re suggesting is that if you lock a monkey in a ro...

It is unfortunate that this was an invite-only, private get-together to spend time with a mutual friend, that was filmed against objections when the cameraman promised everyone, "this is just as a keepsake for me, no one else will see it."

The short-long sidejog is good but Bill Kalush, Chris Kenner and Michael Webber were all doing it with Mene-Tekel decks more than 25 years ago, so while Jafo may be the first to have the idea in print, the idea is far from new.
